WE ARE THE 'LIGHT OF OUR LIFE'
Whether we are aware of it or not, we all use LIGHT ENERGY with its different components of colour to heal ourselves.
Feeling a need for privacy, for time to collect and work through your thoughts and emotions? Do you wear a dark colour such as black, or maybe dark blue?
Such colours have little to say to the outside world about your personality, your inner feelings and emotions so you may use these dark colours as a disguise to hide behind!
If you are feeling more confident you may well add a touch of colour such as red to express this mood, or yellow or gold to display your humour or happy nature. The colours we wear give those around us subliminal messages about ourselves .. our moods, thoughts, emotions, needs, desires!.
Powerful stuff …. and many of us don’t realise we are doing this. So we give out ‘messages’, but what about receiving them?? These messages don’t come back as light. They are hidden in body language or words!
MESSAGES ARE SIMPLY ‘ENERGY’
Remember, colour is simply LIGHT ENERGY from the visible spectrum. Each colour travels through space with a different energetic vibration shown by its FREQUENCY or WAVELENGTH. Our bodies interact with all forms of energy we are exposed to: X-rays, radio waves, microwaves, infra-red, ultraviolet and the visible spectrum of colour energy.
Each type of energy has positive and negative effects on the cellular activity of our body.
For example, overdoses of high frequency energy waves such as X-rays, damages our cells’ DNA. The vibrations of infra-red waves of energy warm us up, creating heat energy, but can also burn us.
Colour energy waves of the VISIBLE LIGHT SPECTRUM lie in the middle of the Electromagnetic Spectrum and these energies are not harmful to us.
BALANCING THE LIGHT IN OUR LIVES
However, we need a BALANCE of these energies in order to maintain our health and well-being. In our busy lives, we often don’t stop to consider whether our bodies are getting enough light … at least enough of the right wavelengths.
Did you know that for our body to synthesise enough VITAMIN D which is crucial for many aspects of our well-being from healthy functioning of our immune system to production of Serotonin which helps to regulate our moods.
